GPS drawing around Chichester
Day 1 was a scaling exercise in the playing field.
The students first prepared simple line drawings on paper and then headed to the field with GPS receivers.
The drawings were then used a map that had a route to walk along.
Once drawings were orientated in within the field they were charted on foot at a considerably larger scale.

Many metres later and after dodging a various games of rounders and running, we achieved the following GPS Drawings:

Below are all the GPS drawings captured on after the first day of the workshop.
They include everything from the initial GPS experiments and the novelties of doodle walking, to the journey back to the classroom.
Track Length: 33.93 km
