The map show the perimeter of the school field in red and all
the GPS tracks that were created over the two day workshop.
Over 90 pupils took part in making huge drawings with GPS receivers in an area
of about 12 acres.
-This eye is 190 meters long
Most of the drawings were made with a single line -
The activity was part of the '20 Kinds of Drawing' touring exhibition
that highlights the many methods and uses of drawing.
The workshops were organised with the help of Ruth Cook for the Community Arts
Program provided by the school.
It took place on the first and second days of March 2004 at the George Abbot School in Guilford, Surrey, UK.
